About Oasis
Oasis has served the New River Valley for more than a decade. In that time, the business has grown from a tiny two-person grocery run out of a car into a 12,000 square foot store serving Blacksburg’s international and gourmet communities. We completely renovated our space in 2009, upgrading our infrastructure to match the high-quality food handling and refrigeration found in national grocery chain stores. We strongly believe that this infrastructure is essential to delivering the freshest, safest, and best tasting product to our customers.
Oasis has the highest business volume of any ethnic or specialty grocer in Southwest Virginia. Our volume lets us negotiate significant discounts with suppliers, and we pass those savings on to our customers. We have regular customers who travel from North Carolina, West Virginia, and other towns in Virginia to shop with us. We are proud to have earned such loyalty from our customers and we work very hard to keep it.
